Climbing Orchid Ensemble!

Using the Climbing Orchid Bundle and the Color Theory Designer Series Paper, you will be making three cards with versatile sentiments like thinking of you, hello, and Enjoy today to be used for sympathy, birthday, wedding, or keeping in touch. You will box up your ensemble in a decorated acetate card box. Creating Pretty Cards – Sketch Challenge #78

Each month in addition to the great 3D projects that we have for you, we also host a monthly card challenge – Creating Pretty Cards!!

To help you recreate the sketch each month, we’ve also provided a free Sketch Mini Tutorial! This mini tutorial has information about how the inspiration card (using the sketch) was created, supplies used, and basic measurements!!

A couple guidelines before we get started and you submit your creations to our challenge!

Please Do!:

  • Share cards related to each month’s card challenge using Stampin’ Up! supplies only.
  • Post the card to your blog or other online forum (e.g. SplitCoastStampers).
  • When posting the card to your blog or other online forum consider using as a keyword CPCX, with the X representing the card challenge number. E.g. For this our 78th challenge it would be CPC78.
  • Use the link tool below to link to your card (not just your blog, please).
  • If posting to your blog, please link back to Craft Project Central.
  • Leave comments for those that share their card creations! Thank you!

Please Don’t!:

  • Try to advertise with your creations.
  • Use non-Stampin’ Up! supplies, stamp sets, ribbon, accessories, etc. on your creations.

We reserve the right to remove submissions that don’t meet the above criteria, but we don’t want to have to do that, so please do the do’s!

For every ten cards submitted, we’ll pick one winner of a free month subscription here on Craft Project Central! The winner(s) will get to select the month of their choice! So if we have 15 submissions this month we’ll randomly pick one winner from all submissions*. If we have 40 submissions we’ll randomly pick four winners from all submissions*, and so on! We really want to give away some free subscriptions, so please do join our challenge!!

*If our project designers submit a card for your inspiration this month, they won’t be in the winner random-selection pool, but their cards will count towards the “for every 10 cards submitted winner total”!

Here is our next Creating Pretty Cards – Card Challenge #78!!

You’ve Been Tagged!

How many times have you needed a gift tag or a bookmark or a quick embellishment for a card? Here’s your answer! With this tutorial, you’ll use the Oh So Eclectic Bundle and Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper to create a box full of tags – twelve, to be exact. You can add the tags to a gift box or bag, a card, a bottle of your favorite libation, or even use a tag as bookmark for those people who still read “real” books. This would make a fun stamp camp or product-based class.

Designer Line Up for December & CPC News!

Welcome to Craft Project Central for December 2017!!

We hope you’re all having a very happy holiday season!  We have more fun projects for you to make while “relaxing” during this fun-but crazy holiday season, or after if you don’t have time now.  As you probably have noticed, we try to get all of the holiday projects posted before December, so you have time to get your supplies and make them before the craziness starts! The projects this month make great Christmas gifts, if you still have time to make them, but are generic enough that you can make them for any time of year!

We have two new designers this month, Joanne Mulligan and Lauren Alarid! They both designed great projects that would make great gifts, now and year round! Make sure to check out their projects when they debut later in the month!

At this time, in addition to introducing the December designers, I’d like to make a special announcement too!  2017 was our 7th year here at Craft Project Central! During our seven years, we’ve posted over 850 project tutorials and 78 free card sketch tutorials!  That’s a lot of projects and crafting! Thanks to our awesome designers, we’ve provided tutorials for almost every type of occasion and holiday!  And, although we’ve used primarily Stampin’ Up! products in the tutorials, pretty much any type of supplies and tools could be used with the tutorials! The designers worked hard to make all of the project tutorials consistent in format, style and verbiage so it would be easy for you to make all of the projects regardless of the designer! These awesome gals have really worked hard over the years to provide outstanding projects and tutorials for your crafting pleasure!

To give our designers time to recharge their creative batteries and to give you all time to catch up with all of the projects that you’ve subscribed to so far, we’re going to be taking 2018 off! All of the projects for 2017 will remain on the site during 2018 and we’re also going to work on getting all of the projects from 2010 – 2016 on the site for those of you that missed any of those projects!

All of us here at Craft Project Central want to thank all of you for your friendship and support over the last seven years!  We couldn’t have done it without you, and we wouldn’t have wanted to!!  We hope that you have a very happy holiday season and a very Merry Christmas!
