Teacher Appreciation Gift Ensemble!

As the school year is coming to an end, this Teacher Appreciation Gift Ensemble is sure to be a hit!  Everyone knows how hard teachers work right?  So they should be spoiled, and what a better way than to make them something special!  This gift ensemble highlights the Botanical Gardens Product suite and includes a Desk Scratch Pad Holder, Small Legal Pad with Matching Pen, Giant Clothespin, and a Frame!  I know all my daughter’s teachers in the past have loved receiving handmade items that have been made with just them in mind.  So much more personal than a store bought gift!

Designer Line Up for May!

Welcome to Craft Project Central for May 2016!!

Happy May!  I love this time of the year!  Usually not too cold and not too hot, but just right!  That’s one of the things I love too about our variety of projects each month, not too easy and not too hard, but just right!

I hope that you’ve noticed by now that even though a project may be titled “Birthday Party Ensemble” for example, you can easily use the project instructions and templates for other special occasions, such as showers, graduation parties, and holidays.  Although we use mostly Stampin’ Up! products and supplies, it’s easy for you to use tools and materials that you already have.  At the end of each tutorial there is a list of all the the supplies used, measurements, etc.  You can easily substitute the materials that we used for those that you have on hand!

These projects are also great to have on hand for when those special occasions come up and you want to make gifts for friends, neighbors, teachers, etc.  They’re also great for crafting with your friends, in a class, club, workshop, or camp, or just making on your own as a fun creative outlet!!

And speaking of creative, here are the talented gals bringing you some fun and fabulous projects for May!  I’m always so excited to see what they’ve designed for us each month!

Creating Pretty Cards – Sketch Challenge #59!

Each month in addition to the great 3D projects that we have for you, we also host a monthly card challenge – Creating Pretty Cards!!

To help you recreate the sketch each month, we’ve also provided a Sketch Mini Tutorial! This mini tutorial has information about how the inspiration card (using the sketch) was created, supplies used, and basic measurements!!

A couple guidelines before we get started and you submit your creations to our challenge!

Please Do!:

  • Share cards related to each month’s card challenge using Stampin’ Up! supplies only.
  • Post the card to your blog or other online forum (e.g. Splitcoaststampers).
  • When posting the card to your blog or other online forum consider using as a keyword CPCX, with the X representing the card challenge number. E.g. For this our 59th challenge it would be CPC59.
  • Use the link tool below to link to your card (not just your blog, please).
  • If posting to your blog, please link back to Craft Project Central.
  • Leave comments for those that share their card creations! Thank you!

Please Don’t!:

  • Try to advertise with your creations.
  • Use non-Stampin’ Up! supplies, stamp sets, ribbon, accessories, etc. on your creations.

We reserve the right to remove submissions that don’t meet the above criteria, but we don’t want to have to do that, so please do the do’s!

For every ten cards submitted, we’ll pick one winner of a free month subscription here on Craft Project Central! The winner(s) will get to select the month of their choice! So if we have 15 submissions this month we’ll randomly pick one winner from all submissions*. If we have 40 submissions we’ll randomly pick four winners from all submissions*, and so on! We really want to give away some free subscriptions, so please do join our challenge!!

*If our project designers submit a card for your inspiration this month, they won’t be in the winner random-selection pool, but their cards will count towards the “for every 10 cards submitted winner total”.

Yay, we had 10 awesome submissions in April and are able to give a way a free subscription!! The winner for March is card #2 designed by Vicky W! Vicky made a pretty black, white & red floral card (one of my favorite color combinations). Vicky, please contact us at contactus@craftprojectcentral.com to let us know which month you would like free!! Congratulations and thank you again for sharing your awesome creativity with us!  Check out all of the other submissions we had in April!  I love how they are all so different from each other, covering many different occasions and each so easy to duplicate!

P.S. Everyone, you have a great chance to win a free subscription each month! We only had three non-designer entries so those entries had a great chance of winning!!
