If you’ve been with Craft Project Central for any length of time, you know what fabulous designers we have and you know how much I love and appreciate them!
During the month of September, we’re going to help you get to know our designers a little bit better! Every Wednesday we’ll have a new post called Designer Doings, so you can see what our designers are up to in addition to the fabulous project that they’ve created for Craft Project Central for the month! (Sorry this post is a little late in the day, Monday being a holiday threw me off and I thought it was Tuesday, lol!!)
Today, I’ve got some information for you on our Creating Pretty Cards sketch designer, Kris Kilkenny! Kris just promoted to the position of Manager as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! Congratulations Kris!!!
I’m Kris from Edmond, Oklahoma. I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for three years and recently promoted to the title of Manager. I teach a monthly stamp club where we typically make two technique cards and a 3-D project such as a treat holder or embellishment. I love designing the monthly sketch challenge for Craft Project Central, scrapbooking and participating in card swaps. My husband and I own an online maternity store and boutique called BellaBlu Maternity & Baby http://www.bellablumaternity.com/ or http://www.shoppingcartcovershop.com/.
I’ve also been working part time with my best friend at a forensic engineering firm doing administrative work. My oldest son headed off to college this year and my little guy started 3rd grade. He misses his brother! In my spare time I love to take pictures. I got a new DSLR camera for my birthday. I’ve been taking online photography classes through Katrina Kennedy’s website, Capture Your 365 and Big Picture Classes. I tried to start taking a photo a day this year and made it all the way through May consistently, then trailed off to about a photo a week. I take a lot of photos of my fur babies, a 13 year old Dachshund and a 2 year old Morkie. You can follow my everyday photos on Instagram here: http://followgram.me/paperfairykris or check out my blog: http://www.paperfairykris.blogspot.com. One of my favorite quotes is: "Life isn’t about finding yourself. It’s about creating yourself."
