Spring Framed Art & Cards!

Did you get the instructions for this Spring Framed Art & Cards project when it was posted last May?  If you didn’t and you’d like to, you’ll want to subscribe to May 2013 before it is deleted from the site on May 1st, to make room for May2014 projects!

Butterflies are synonymous with Spring, and this framed art makes the perfect decor or gift for the season!  The banner that adorns the top left corner of the frame features letter tags that each have a decorative edge created from assorted punches, and the 3D butterflies are each decorated with a sparkly rhinestone jewel.  The bottom right corner of the frame is adorned with punched flowers that have a soda pop top in the center.  This ensemble also features four coordinating note cards!  Make this ensemble for yourself, as a gift, or as a fun class project!

If you already subscribed to May 2013, you’ll want to make sure to download all of the project instructions before May 1st too!

Creating Pretty Cards – Sketch Challenge #34!

Each month in addition to the great 3D projects that we have for you, we also host a monthly card challenge – Creating Pretty Cards!!

We had 17 beautiful submissions for the second month in a row!  So close to 20 where we would be able to give a way two free one month subscriptions!  17 submissions though, means we had enough submissions to give away one free subscription!!  Hopefully in April we will reach 20 (or more)!  Please share your card with us this month using the following new sketch!  And big thank you’s to the wonderful gals that participated and shared their talents with us in March!!

**The winner of our free subscription was card #2 (listed as) CPC33.  Please contact us at contactus@craftprojectcentral.com to let us know which month you would like free!!  Congratulations and thank you for sharing your beautiful card with us!**

In addition to the sketch each month, we’ve also provided a Sketch Mini Tutorial! This mini tutorial has information about how the inspiration card (using the sketch) was created, supplies used, and basic measurements!!

A couple guidelines before we get started and you submit your creations to our challenge!

 Please Do!:

  • Share cards related to each month’s card challenge using Stampin’ Up! supplies only.
  • Post the card to your blog or other online forum (e.g. Splitcoaststampers).
  • When posting the card to your blog or other online forum consider using as a keyword CPCX, with the X representing the card challenge number.  E.g. For this our 34th  challenge it would be CPC34.
  • Use the link tool below to link to your card (not just your blog, please).
  • If posting to your blog, please link back to Craft Project Central.
  • Leave comments for those that share their card creations!  Thank you!

 Please Don’t!:

  • Try to advertise with your creations.
  • Use non-Stampin’ Up! supplies, stamp sets, ribbon, accessories, etc. on your creations.

We reserve the right to remove submissions that don’t meet the above criteria, but we don’t want to have to do that, so please do the do’s!

For every ten cards submitted, we’ll pick one winner of a free month subscription here on Craft Project Central!  The winner(s) will get to select the month of their choice!  So if we have 15 submissions this month we’ll randomly pick one winner from all submissions*.  If we have 40 submissions we’ll randomly pick four winners from all submissions*, and so on! We really want to give away some free subscriptions, so please do join our challenge!!

*If our project designers submit a card for your inspiration this month, they won’t be in the winner random-selection pool, but their cards will count towards the “for every 10 cards submitted winner total”.

Here is our next Creating Pretty Cards – Card Challenge #34!!
